“One of the cleanest showers I've seen at a pilot. To my surprise even the fan and trash are clean. Towels are like new and not overly worn out/stained. This facility only has 3 out of the 5 showers working so they get 4 stars from me. Only about 15 parking spaces outside so if looking for somewhere to spend the night get here early. “I have read in the reviews about the staff not responding very quick to ring up the customers which I have experienced, however the true reasons this happens is because these girls are all so busy stocking, cleaning ect. and it shows because they take great pride in the appearance of this particular store in Verona. They normally will get with customers quickly as they have a chance to. It is a cut above the rest when it comes to dollar general stores. Their staff deserves the best when it comes to ratings, I believe they truly care about people all around.”

“Out on an evening drive from Erlanger, we found this most welcoming little hometown place! Hearing karaoke getting out of the car, we knew we had to stay for a beer and a song, and everyone was just so great and treated us like family. Kelsey, Bridgette, Bailey, and everyone else we met were so warm and lovely. I'd move here in a minute if the work commute wouldn't be so long! If you're in the area, definitely stop in. You'll absolutely love it!”

“Well lit and clean. And staffed with employees that actually care. This franchise is smaller and located in the Florence Kentucky area. I’m not sure how many stores they have but I know they have at least four. It has a well stocked snack section as well as soda and beer. Unlike some major chains like circle K or Subway, they also have some tourist fare, things like Kentucky coffee cups and magnets. The fueling area is pretty large and also very well lit. It has 12 pumps including a few for diesel’s. It’s right off of 75 so there’s no getting lost if you’re traveling. And just a word of caution, there’s a heavy police presence in this area, you will always see a police officer or two cruising on the thoroughfare in front of this gas station. I think there must be a big police station nearby. So don’t speed!”

“If you can park alongside the trees after the pumps it is one of the best Pilots I have parked at. There is room for about 5 to 7 trucks parked on the property. So the showers are always available and no wait in line for nothing. Closest to being at my house as possible and I have great signal for the wifi”

“Speedway is just what the name says. It is a quick stop for anyone with a fast paced life style or work schedule. I stop in primarily for the gas which is as cheap as I can find it anywhere! I sometimes pickup a donut or breakfast sandwich. Sometimes just that one item that saves an additional stop at the grocery store after a long day. The staff are always friendly and the store is both clean and well stocked. As Always, Enjoy!”

“This store is drastically better than it was before the remodel. It got to the point where I just stooped going to this place. The store was disorganized, merchandise on the floor, nothing where it was supposed to be. When you would walk in the front door you would run right into the checkout lines. On top of that the store felt dingy and dirty. Happy to say all those things have changed for the better. Except for the clutter. Sure is taking a long time to get all there stock put on the shelves. There are 3 or 4 aisles you can't even really go up and down. It does seem like they are trying to get things right. Finally. Hope this was helpful in some way.”

“I was at this Speedway at 300 in the morning on 7/5/2021 and there was 1gentleman working and it was only his 5th day on the job. He did an awesome job but it was obvious he shouldn't have been there by himself because we ran into some issues and he tried his hardest to correct it but we figured it out together but I wanted to let you know throughout the whole situation he was very polite and sweet as can be. I believe with a little bit more training you will have yourself another great employee maybe even a great manager. I just wanted to let you know he was awesome and very polite. He did a great job.”

“If the is the speedway by Toyota it’s definitely one of your best stores. It inspired me to get a second job to make people smile. If they have to wait in coffee it’s free, if the brand of coffee that makes your day run smoothly isn’t ready they don’t get aggravated and make it. Unfortunately I was sent to the one by the highway on Litton ln, horrible. Speedway offers nothing but low wages to their employees and their employees at this location expressed that. They offer nothing at this location. Speedway is a fast growing company and should promote the customer service they say they expect. They should also be more generous to the employees. I was disappointed but good thing I at least have a large selection of store choices in every block. Speedway at least allow your employees to have coffee and fountain drinks. Do something nice to show the appreciation you must feel during your growth”

“The parking lot is huge. Holds prob 200 trucks. And only prob 50 are reserved spots. The parking lot is really out of date and caving in but not the worst. Getting out of the truck was not hit with the smell of pee... Always a plus. The store is big and very well cleaned. The store and the bathroom were very clean and smell free. Dennys inside and the pilot kitchen. Grabbed a chicken salad. Fresh and very good. Didnt use the shower but would say also very clean.”
