“I was a dolt and forgot my work laptop at security when I flew home. I didn't notice until the next morning, but I filled out an online report as soon as I noticed. I also called the airport, who transferred me to lost & found and immediately got on the phone with the nicest officer ever. I didn't wait on hold at all. She told me exactly what was going to happen (they get their shipment at 11am) and that she would have an answer for me by noon. Sure enough, as 12:20 they emailed me telling me they found my laptop. I was SO relieved and immediately went to pick it up. I walked right in, was helped immediately, and got my laptop. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly helpful, reassuring, professional, and confident during this stressful couple of hours. As someone who lives in Chicago, I honestly thought my laptop was gone forever. But being served immediately over the phone and in-person but NICE people who seem to care was a massive relief. Thank you CVG police! If i ever lose my laptop again, I hope it's at this airport.”
