  Every horse lovers dream! The only barn that was really open when we visited was the Big Barn, which is the draft horses. Other barns and buildings were either off limits or temporarily closed for cleaning due to COVID.
  One of the staff members said if we waited around for an hour we could see a retired race horse. They had just finished a riding demonstration when we were getting there, but they seemed to have things on the schedule most of the day.
  5/5 beautiful facility.
  4/5 accessibility. While it is all paved, there are hills and inclines that might make it challenging with a wheelchair. Not that it can’t be done, it’s just not all even ground.
  10/10 recommend for anyone that likes horses!
  My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that we were not able to fully experience the park since most of it was closed off.

  There is quite a bit of stuff to see there! It seems as though there's always something going on, whether it be just the existing displays, shows about the different breeds, or other competitions. Doesn't seem like there's much lacking. Plus... we got to see some of the previous derby winners up close!! Very cool place!

  This is a beautiful and well maintained park. I went Thursday of this week and intended to spend about two to three hours but instead spent all day. It was a great day. Another person just posted it was twenty each but it is $12.00 for regular admission. It was not crowded and very clean. You are given a map with times on it of talks the staff give about the animals. In between I went to the great museum that is closed two times daily to clean. It has so much to view and learn and places to sit. The staff will stop whatever they are doing to help and answer questions. Great p,ace and had a great time. The museum alone was worth it but there is so much more to see. Seeing the former champion horses and the oldest living Derby winner was icing on the cake. Great day, great value. I will be back.

  A definite must do if you have time. Grounds are nice with plenty of shade. Museums are top notch. Staff is always courteous. We visit every July (excepting the COVID cancellation 2020) for Breyerfest and are always impressed with operations. Beautiful grounds. If we lived closer it would be a frequent visit for a nice day out. The park mounted police are great friendly and good stewards to the public and always ready to spend a couple minutes chatting with you. If you are travelling in the area, put it on your to do list.
