I love going to the dentist, said no one ever. But I try to be positive and know it is important for my health. Then I go and Cynthia is delightful and careful and Dr. Monson is fun, honest and caring! Highly recommend!

Dr. Monson and his staff is beyond exceptional! Always friendly and the office is neat and clean! Cynthia is great! Have known her for many years! She stays on top of all new technology! Dr. Monson is the best dentist in Lexington,Ky. I would travel many miles for my dental work to be provided by him! I am a very nervous patient and he takes the time to explain
the process. The chairs are relaxing with the massage also. Dr. Monson is Top-Knotch along with his staff! Thank you and staff for being patient and able to calm me down. My rating is above and beyond the 5 star!

Dr. Monson is, hands down, the absolute BEST dentist out there. My fear of the dentists’ office caused me to have intermittent care for my teeth over the years. I couldn’t stand the sound of the tools and my teeth are EXTREMELY sensitive so it was always a nightmare… until I went to Monson Family Dentistry. Dr. Monson convinced me to let him work on my teeth “just once” without being put under anesthesia, at which time he said if I felt any pain whatsoever then we would stop and discuss other options for moving forward. I had some major work that needed to be done and I can attest - 11 root canals later - that not only do my teeth look amazing, I was not put under once! I was completely awake for each and every procedure with only the pinch from the novocain shots to complain about. My words don’t do Dr. Monson and his staff justice - they go above and beyond to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of their clients; and not only while in the office, but also following up after work is done. I’ve had an after-hours emergency come up and I was able to make immediate contact, easily. Another time I was out of town and needed something addressed, during which time Dr. Monson was able to arrange to even make that happen! They always care. They’re always professional. They’ll be my only dental provider for as long as I need or he retires, whichever comes first!! I couldn’t make a more genuine, honest recommendation- especially if you have had bad experience(s) in the past.

From the moment I walked into the door I felt very invited and welcomed. The office is super super clean and decorated very nicely. The receptionist was very calming and kind. I felt a sense of ease when I was called back to have my teeth cleaned just by the atmosphere alone. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was incredible. She took her time and explained everything to me. She checked on me constantly and took into consideration my fear of going to the dentist office which I so appreciated. Dr. Monson was so kind and I could tell immediately that he genuinely cares about his patients. He took his time to look over my X-rays, do an exam on my teeth, and made sure to answer and explain any questions I had. I made sure to schedule my next appointment before I left and can’t wait to go back in 6 months for my next cleaning! I will also be bringing my husband and children with me next time. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this practice. Monson Family Dentistry is hands down the best dental practice in Lexington!
