“St. Williams Parrish is a beautifully decorated and warm, welcoming church. They give to the needy, orphans, and widows, and are excellent at creatively producing out of the box solutions. Fr. John List heads the church in a fatherly fashion, and the deacons are very helpful both to Father List and the congregation. The church may be small, but it’s filled with big hearts ready to get to know you. This church gets an A+”

“The decision to stay at Willow Bend Farms was a fantastic one. It was the best B&B my husband and I have ever stayed in. I don't write many reviews however this place warranted it. Karen and Herb have a beautiful and immaculate home, a truly unique property. They are the most thoughtful and welcoming hosts you could ask for. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. There was a homemade cake upon arrival, a sunset "safari" ride on Herb's UTV, feeding all of their farm "pets", spacious rooms, coffee stations, cold drinks, and a delicious homemade breakfast to cap it off! The linens were beautiful and bedding was exceptionally comfortable. There were numerous locations throughout the property to sit and enjoy the stunning views any time of day. My husband, children and I went out of our way to stay here, and couldn't recommend it more highly. If you are anywhere near Lexington, this place is worth your stay.”

“Log Heads staff were easy to work with and generally kept me up-to-date. However, completion and delivery of my desk and chair seemed to take a little longer than expected. The desk was fine and to my specifications, but the chair, although creative, was very heavy and was not that compatible with the desk. Also, Log Heads was a little pricey when compared to another small custom desk and chair which I purchased from another manufacture with "free" shipping, at 60% less cost, and, sorry Log Heads, the other manufacturer was by far my favorite desk and chair combo between my two purchases.”

“Very simple ambiance. Its basically a kitchen built into a barn. If you took the table and decor out it could easily convert to hold hay. But all that doesnt really matter bc theyre going for the nice simple homemade farm meal. When I went, there wasn’t a menu per say. I was told they had a burger or chorizo burger. And that was it. So i went with the burger. When it came out I got just that; a bun and burger. Period. Then you get in line for all the fixins. Mind you, they had a nice variety from pickled cabbage to bourbon bbq sauce. So after all that and with its very simple decor, it gave me a TERRIFIC burger! The sauce was great. I had like 3 different pickled things on there. It was soooo good. I don’t usually get a 2nd burger, but I seriously tried justifying to myself that it was a good idea. I did however decide that coming back again or stopping whenever im in the area is likely a great idea. Bonus is this place would likely make a good place for a client meeting. Or properly coordinated, a good place for a wedding reception. They even have a little farm playground. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is bc I was wanting to get the Reuben (I love reubens) and they didnt have it. And they weren’t able to give me a day when it would be there or when it was expected.”

“We rented 8 kayaks from Alexandria Cruise and they were wonderful to work with. They were flexible and communicative and were timely dropping off and picking up the kayaks. The kayaks, paddles and life vests were in great condition, practically brand new. We will definitely use them again!”
