“I have been seen by Ed Vaughn twice with about a decade in between. The first time i saw him, I thought that something negative in my life was my fault and i was dealing with tremendous guilt about it and about wanting to escape. He listened to me talk and cry for about 45 minutes, then he said one sentence that literally set me free from years of misery. He gives off a compassionate air and listens extremely well and feels like he is 100% present, not daydreaming while you talk. He makes you feel accepted and maybe even "normal". Ed also makes you feel safe and comfortable enough to get out what is poisoning you but he will "call bullshit" on you too, and point out when you're lying to yourself.
