“Barre3. My first review for them was in 2015, when they opened. I came for a Yelp event and I’m proud to say I’ve been a regular since then. Now, I’m not someone who sticks with a particular workout regimen, gyms are not my style. However, Barre3 is different. It is a combination of yoga, Pilates and barre founded by Sadie Lincoln. (Also a great listen on “How I Built This” on the origins of the company.) I’ve been coming here for 7 years. I’ve done community classes, I’ve bought class packages, I’ve done live steam and been in the studio. What I’m most thankful for is that this is a welcome, opening community. You are welcomed every time you come to the studio. Anyone is welcome to join. I’ve had friends join me who felt the body positivity during the class and felt welcomed. They frequently do community classes in locations like Paristown or at Work the Metal. I’ve enjoyed these classes too as an opportunity to share Barre3 with friends. In the spring/fall, they typically do class pack sales where I purchases classes so I can come and go as I can. I haven’t done the monthly membership only because it is hard for me to go on workdays. The instructors (Abby, Mel, Kelly, Emily, Becca) have all been amazing. They have different styles and I workout something new every time. This community makes me happy and makes me feel like I belong. It has taken me so long to find a fitness community that does that for me. I’m so glad Barre3 has been here for 7 years, and cheers and gratitude to more.”

“If you are looking for sweet treats that work with your dietary restrictions but don't taste like chalk, then you must try Annie May's. By far the best gluten free deserts I have tried, you wouldn't know they were gluten-free free if they didn't tell you!”

“everything was really good & fresh! their fries are the best in louisville. fried mushrooms & coleslaw were great. beware the hush puppies are actually jalapeño hush puppies (which it doesn’t mention on the menu) and are spicy. the waitress was very sweet and helpful with answering our questions :)”

“Fantastic laundry in Clifton. Change machines have always worked and many of the washers and dryers take debit/credit cards. Their drop off service has been a lifesaver on more than one occasion. Staff is the best! Been a customer off and on for 20 years and will continue to recommend.”

“More than six decades ago, I made my first trans-Atlantic crossing. I haven't stopped travelling since. As the years have passed, I have ventured to ever-more distant places and tried new ways of getting from point A-to-B. Increasingly, I have had to turn to the pros. The most professional of all have been Eleanor Hardy, her colleagues at The Society of International Railway Travelers, and their partners abroad. It all started with a "bucket list" journey on the Orient Express. In advance, I thought it would be nice, fun... it turned out to be a totally fantastic experience in every conceivable way. It wasn't only the journey from Paris to Istanbul that was exceptional, it was what Eleanor organized for us after we left the train. Indeed, it was so amazing that within weeks, we had planned a second trip to southern Turkey with Eleanor's help and are now seeking her expertise in planning a trip to Egypt. The Society of International Railway Travelers was not the first company we have turned to for help, but it looks as if it will be the last. They are terrific and have earned our loyalty. In the planning stage they hear (not simply listen to) what you're trying to achieve. Attention is paid to the details. Without question, I give them 5 very bright gold stars for excellence.”

“Had a great time and enjoyed the food very much. Because of a small gathering we were seated in one of the private rooms. Windows can be positioned to allow the breeze through. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium. My wife enjoyed the salmon. Sides and veggies all taste great and very authentic. Wine and spirits selection are very satisfying and mostly top shelf.”

“I rescued my beagle in September 2020. I first brought him to Urban Village in November when he contracted kennel cough at his training school. It is just early March 2021 and he's already been back at least 4 times for various things. Honestly, I picked this vet because they're close to home and have great reviews. Absolutely every single employee, from the front desk to the doctors, are so incredibly kind and friendly at Urban Village! I truly believe that every single one of them care about my beloved dog as if he was their own. They are super organized compared to everywhere else I've been with this dog or previous dogs. When I call to schedule an appointment they do their best to triage over the phone through a lot of questions, and if they think it sounds even the tiniest bit serious, they squeeze him into their always packed schedule within 24 hours. His doctors always follow up PERSONALLY via email within days following the appointment, to make sure he's doing okay and see if I have any additional questions or needs. Staff spends time getting to know my dog, his history, his needs, and his personality, and make a ton of great suggestions and recommendations - everything from foods and treats to groomers. A few weeks ago I needed to get him into a groomer. I took him to another vet in the same area that has a grooming facility. They were so disorganized. Drop-off/pick-up was a jacked process. The staff and doctors were kind of rude. Didn't care that he was exhibiting symptoms of kennel cough. Called the wrong customer to let them know he was done, then called me hours later to ask why I hadn't picked him up. They tacked on all kinds of additional vaccines and junk that took my beagle's $35 grooming visit to almost $150 total. Urban Village has not only never tacked anything additional on like this, they usually estimate a cost in advance that is significantly higher than the eventual bill, because they don't look for extra ways to make money at the expense of your concern for your pet. Top-down this is the best vet clinic I've ever seen, with the best staff and doctors imaginable. To beat it all, they're usually 3/4 or even half the price of other clinics, even ones just down the street. I'm lucky this just happened to be the first vet I tried with my new buddy, and I'll never take a pet anywhere else. They have my full recommendation!”

“Arch L Heady - Frankfort Avenue - took such precious care of our entire family when my Aunt Ruth passed away. They managed every detail flawlessly from the obituary, flowers, music and the list goes on and on. My Aunt looked much - much better than we anticipated. Our expectations were exceeded and I have peace knowing that my Aunt’s final wishes were handled with extreme grace and care. Thank you staff at Arch L Heady - Frankfort Avenue. You were magnificent.”

“Would recommend LET to anyone! It can be so difficult to find a therapist, but I have felt safe and supported from the minute I first walked into the office months ago. Theresa has helped me walk through one of the hardest times in my life, and has gone above and beyond to provide support. Incorporating art into personal therapy has been an incredible experience (and this is coming from someone who can barely draw a stick figure!)”
