“Took a chance looking for a decent burger, was pleasantly surprised! The staff was quick, friendly and colorful, the group that was in the bar was obviously regulars as evidenced by the staff knowing their name. Food was done perfectly, fries were crisp and perfect. Prices were a good value for quantity and quality served. EDIT: Added more photos.”

“Service was fantastic! I usually don't like Mexican rice...but this place has the best! I had a spinach quesadilla with shredded chicken and topped with cheese! Wow! It was delicious! 😋 Chips and Salsa were pretty good too. I definitely recommend this El Nopal for sure!”

“Outstanding!! Hard to find places like this. The food was made fresh to serve. Perfectly battered and fried and served hot and fresh. Two of us have food allergies and the gentleman behind the counter was so kind and professional and reassured me our orders would be fried with only cornmeal and separately; he spoke to the kitchen to ensure no flour would cross into our food. Those of us with allergies and sensitivities are so appreciative of the extra steps to ensure our health and safety. Truly a hidden treasure here in Louisville and some of the best fried fish I’ve eaten in a long time. The restaurant was clean and fairly busy, few minutes to wait for your made to order. They offer a few booth seats, and couple of tables all indoors.”

“Anytime I am on my travels, I am always looking for some exotic foods. I love to try and eat meats that are hard to fine and this place are exactly what I was looking for. Their entire menu has all kinds of gamy items that are not easy to find, but the rarest of all was the kangaroo! Certainly not something I can manage to eat all the time, but as a once in a while I don’t it was amazing. I had a rabbit meatball on the side and was very happy with my meal. The kangaroo burger was delicious and the sauce on it was fantastic. It was a pretty good size and I left the restaurant relatively full. I will say that the side items of sweet potatoes was small so I’d recommend going for the basket instead if you are hungry. Not only was the meal good, but the service is pretty great as well. Isaac was great with the server and very helpful on my touristy Kentucky questions. I would highly recommend trying this place out!”

“Customer service was excellent. I knew by the way they greeted me in the drive through line everything was going to be great!!! The food was amazing 👏. " How can I serve you at my KFC" is how I was greeted. It did not disappoint, I inhaled a fresh three piece extra crispy with mashed potatoes. Thanks!!!”

“I'm not to crazy about the food here. Personally I don't like the taste or the price. But when it comes to thier blizzards, that's another story. My daughter and me stopped in the other night. They were packed inside and out. The poor guy on the cash register was new but doing the best he could. Unfortunately. a Door dash driver guy came in and thought he should be waited it on instead of the 6 people that were in line. I understand someone is waiting on thier food. But as with most places of business's, they are short handed. So the manager finally came up to dissolve Mr. Personality. There was only 6 people there working including her and 2 were new. I think they did a great job with what they had. After we came in there were 6 other people that came in. No one else was being a pain but him.”

“So I have to share how kind, professional & attentive this Domino's guy was to me last Thursday 7.14. I forgot his name but he had tons of pins in his Hat. He was by himself but what made it such an amazing experience was his demeanor. He greeted everyone that walked in, even if he was in the middle of making pizzas, checking the Oven, boxing them up. So at least you felt acknowledged. On top of that he had the BEST attitude which made the wait not so bad bc you felt Welcome. Domino's you need to give this guy a Bonus. I had honestly given up on Dominos but decided to give you another chance and this employee sealed the deal!! I will be Back!”

“everything was really good & fresh! their fries are the best in louisville. fried mushrooms & coleslaw were great. beware the hush puppies are actually jalapeño hush puppies (which it doesn’t mention on the menu) and are spicy. the waitress was very sweet and helpful with answering our questions :)”

“Waited a few minutes at the ordering sign before anyone acknowledged me. After ordering I was greeted at the payment window with a great customer service experience. The man opened with a joke before taking my payment, which I appreciate the customer engagement. I had to wait for fresh food to be made and was given an extra order of chicken fries for my wait. Their food was fresh and tasted great. The staff at this location seems to care about it's customers.”

“rocking! Little neighborhood bar. Food is good, hours and Karaoke are inconsistent though. Have looked forward to Wednesday night Karaoke a few times to get there and find out they cancelled the DJ. Either have it or don't!”

“The place is nice and my family's food was good. I ordered enchiladas de mole and they were bad. Too salty and i didn't eat it. They offered to change it but my family shared food and were ok. Other than the mole all was good.”

“This location is always busy. Which given the location. I'm not surprised. Usually, the drive-thru moves rather smoothly. However, there have been times when it gets backed up. I usually make a habit of ordering via the app and picking up my order in the drive-thru. I feel this helps keep the line moving. Plus you can earn points for free stuff. Also, if I arrive and want to add something like a pup cup, they can just add it to my order then. Even during busier times, the staff is always pleasant and helpful. They are also quick to correct any issues. Overall, I like this location. The owner occasionally sends out emails about events. Which is nice to get people together. The staff is very friendly and even though occasionally the lines are long, my food is fresh.”

“Small/little restaurant right next door to a small market(you can walk through restaurant to the store). Very friendly. Great service. Lg portions. Reasonable prices. Husband had Triple Delight,, shrimp, scallop, and beef and served with fried(or white) rice. I had the spicy beef and pork Pho. Will definitely be going again and bringing family and friends.”

“Well I’m not the first but I had to come in. I was going to order from a local pizza place but they closed at 11pm. Someone suggested Goodfellas and it wasn’t just open it was bustling, bright and alive! Not only were they were creating and baking fresh pizzas, there were 25 people in line waiting to but a slice! The facility was clean and looked well maintained. Ordering a whole pie took a while but by the slice was quick and efficient. The staff were alive for that hour of the evening and attentive! Overall great experience!! Highly recommend!”

“Had an all veggie 'dagwood', not toasted. It was good and so were the fries. They cut fresh potatoes for the fries and they are salted just right. They also have chocolate chunk cookies that are really good too. The people working there are friendly provided fast service.”

“Our waitress was incredible and made the experience so welcoming! I would go back just for her. My silverware had super crusted on old food bits on the fork probably from going through an industrial dishwasher without the particles getting scraped off first so that was gross, but I ate with chopsticks to avoid it. The E-Breezy cocktail was also very good, but it took a while to get the drinks to our table. The sushi was pretty good as well. I could have used more eel sauce on my roll, which is pictured. I think if you’re paying for ingredients that are going on your roll, it should go on the roll rather than a small dab on the side, but the presentation was obviously nice. The sushi rice was good on the rolls. The hibachi meals we ordered were good and the kitchen remembered to accommodate for a food request we had for one of the meals and that was very appreciated. The steak was seasoned well and it was tender. Overall, the experience was good, just had a couple hiccups.”

“The food was great and the portion size is amazing. I just didn’t receive any utensils or napkins. Edit: I ordered from them a second time and was very satisfied. I gave this place a 4 stars originally but I am changing it to a 5 star. I still didn’t receive any utensils but the portion size and flavor you was top notch. The orange chicken had lots of sauce and a nice crunch.”

“This place is a must try! We went for my husband's birthday dinner with friends. The owner and staff are so pleasant, they treated us like family. We booked the outside seating, had appetizers, dinner, drinks, and dancing. We definitely kept them open later than their normal hours, but they never rushed us. We had an amazing time. Best dishes were the Gobi Manchurian, chicken 65, and malai kofta. They even brought out a special dessert set up for my husband with a candle upon request. Highly recommend this place!”

“My husband and I decided to try out a new place today. Happy to report that they did NOT disappoint. Not only was this place clean and open. The staff was super nice. Food portions were great! My sandwich (which had the bread in a different box so it wouldn't get soggy 😀) wasn't small by any means. Everything has fresh and hot. So, if you like the things you see on their menu. You should give them a try!”

“Nice atmosphere, staff is friendly and helpful. Fresh guacamole is outstanding and it’s a very big bowl, definitely getting your money’s worth. Chicken wings were very flavorful. Taco fajita was good. Tamale wasn’t very tasty and was very dry and the shredded beef chimichanga was good.”

“Don't let the outside appearance or location fool you. Nestled on a side street and part of "strip mall" style building is this great little place. I was greeted by a friendly bartender, then host and quickly seated. The service was great and extremely friendly. The food was excellent and plenty of it! Prices were definitely fair for the amount and quality of food. This would have been a 5 star; however, the music seemed to get louder forcing people to talk louder.”

“A good place for a quick lunch or take out. Your typical Chinese take out menu, I would recommend their SingaporeMei Fun, Chicken Curry or Moo Shu. Came back two months later and had the lunch Szechuan beef with an egg roll. It was very good. I would come again. I enjoy coming and eating here cause the people are nice, bathrooms are clean and the food is good.”

“OHBOI! Beware of the 'homicide' sauce, as a Mexican myself I confirm this thing is SPICY AF! I did finish my greens and my wings but buyer beware IT IS HOT! Taste is super good, and staff is incredible, top notch staff giving their best at every single time. Food is on point, and beer repertoire is wide enough and sufficient. Thank you!”
