(March 17, 2022, 5:36 pm)Interesting house with room for about 6- 8 pretty comfortably. Modern place with a classic look. Equipped kitchen, comfy beds.
The neighbors are closer than I expected and "town" / shopping is about 15 minutes away, so it's not too different being at home in some respects.
The internet here is good, you'll want to bring a firestick or something to stream stuff or use their DVD player.
The roosters next door started up about 330am and apparently never stop, and with the dogs barking on and off that may be trouble if you expect quiet or need silence to sleep, but if you're used to city noises and volume levels its no big deal.
If you're not from KY it can be kind of annoying trying to find adult beverages, but I guess you get used to it.
(July 1, 2020, 7:46 pm)We love Big Hill House! So many great memories made with our family! My dad lives in NC and we live in IL. We meet once a year, halfway, for a long weekend. We've chosen Big Hill two years in a row and plan on many more! Such a beautiful and unique place with great views! It feels like home ❤️
