  We stayed for our anniversary and the house is beautiful! The views are beautiful! Everything was extremely clean and very welcoming. The food was delicious, we recomend the stuffed french toast and oatmeal. We loved the friendliness of the owner and would recommend you stay here. The rooms are very clean and the bed is very comfortable.

  Wow! This place was such a relaxing experience for my girlfriend and me. We live 15 minutes away but we needed a night away from home. And it was so worth it. We were greeted on the porch by Ira the owner and his dogs(which are so sweet). The rooms were just like the pictures and just perfect. Ira knows so much about the area and it was a treat talking with him. And if you’re a fan of breakfast...let me tell you it’ll blow you away all they have to offer. It’s tailored to what you want. And I mean anything. I had biscuits and gravy, pancakes, eggs and bacon. And my girlfriend had eggs Benedict. Just perfect!! Give this place a shot if you need some relaxing time somewhere.

  I will definitely stay here again. It's for those that want to enjoy an experience. The owner greets you, it's a very personal experience with a personalized breakfast and much more than we could eat. Very great food choices. It's geothermal and even had an electric charging station. The nature was very nice, it's a little bit off of some country roads. I loved being greeted by the dogs. They're very sweet. Everything in the house was huge and the rooms and bathtubs were very large!. We live in berea and felt like we were on vacation here. Thank you. I feel relaxed and refreshed.

  This place was great! My wife and I stayed here the night of our wedding in August. Our bedroom had a huge comfy king-sized bed, a nice TV with surround sound, and central air that made that hot/humid Kentucky night feel like we were in Alaska. The bathroom was huge as well with an amazing multi-head shower and a two person tub surrounded by candles. The breakfast menu had a good selection of classics. I had the waffles with blueberry compote and they were honestly the best I’ve ever had. You get to pick the main food and each order comes with fruit or yogurt and a few choices of sides. We had so much food between the 2 of us it could’ve fed a family of 5. Our host was the best part. He joined us for breakfast. He told us some history about the area and some very interesting stories of his past and past guests. We had a great night sleep and an amazing breakfast. Could not have asked for a better night.

  So we just wrapped up our stay here and I want to begin by acknowledging one of the coolest parts of the stay, the owner. He is an amazingly interesting man and was wonderful to talk to, make time to do this. It is definitely off the beaten path but that is probably what you are looking for in Berea. When we pulled up to the house, we were greeted by a pack of rambunctious and loving dogs which made it even better. I got to get them thoroughly riled up and then we headed up to the porch where the owner was waiting for us. He gave us a quick tour and some background on the house and the area (very knowledgeable). The inn is actually heated and cooled by geothermal power so that is a plus and they have a Tesla charger for those with an electric car. The room was wonderful (Lee), very clean and spacious, and the view was incredible. But the high points had to be the food (I had stuffed french toast, and I hate french toast, but this was other-worldly.), and the conversational with the owner (ask about the UMWA, or Boone's Trace.) It was a wonderful trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get away and experience a little luxury.

A bit hard to get to on backroads, but the view from the front porch (and some of the bedroom windows) is more than worth it!
