Union Church

Wonderful place of worship. Accepting of everyone

This church set the tone for the church I will crave for the rest of my life. Kent Gilbert is the reason I went to Berea college, and his kindness is the fuel of much progress in this broken word. I love Union Church!

I have found Union Church to be a welcoming place that meets people where they are and supports them on their spiritual journey. I so appreciate their focus on social justice. It's not perfect but it's a great community of faith.

I am not a big time "believer," but Union Church is very welcoming anyways. I really like how involved in the community and with issues beyond church. The only drawback to me is that like seemingly almost all Christians, the congregants can be quite quite cliqish and cold.
