But the little bit of fat I did get on my brisket was actually very good as well! Surprisingly it was an excellent plate! I look forward to coming back here every month!”

“This place was amazing we were on our way from Michigan to Florida and ran into some trouble they towed us and got us up and going.very quick and very affordable we barely had enough money and they made it work they also drove us to a hotel and picked us up when our car was done the next morning and i know this sounds crazy but they gave us $20 towards our hotel talk about southern hospitality when we first called them we were on the highway broke down and they said about 45 min to come tow us they were there in 20 min tops long story short we could continue our trip and it was all because of these great people. Also another side note when I got back home I called my usual mechanic and told him what I got done and just out of curiosity asked him what it would have cost me with parts and labor and he said about $1,200 dollars we walked out of there including a 50 dollar tow $440 dollars so i definitely recommend this place”

“Memorial Park is very nice. Spoonbread Festival was here weekend of September 16-28. I enjoyed the festival - lots of food booths and merchandise booths and a nice Car Show. I was here on the Sunday so I'm sure I missed a lot of fun events held on Friday and Saturday. Berea is always worth the trip. Love going to Boone Tavern Hotel to have lunch. A very nice place plus all the arts and craft stores around it on Berea College campus.”

“Fat Man Reviews recently made its way to Better Burgers and More in Richmond, KY. Better Burgers serves home-cooked meals at a reasonable price. I wanted to sample the Biscuits and Gravy. The gravy is made using the bacon dripping. It is silky and has good pork flavor, but it desperately needed some salt. The biscuits are brought in fresh every day. They are a bit dense and not super fluffy, but they offer good texture with the gravy. My fiancé had the Cheeseburger and fries. This is served with a 1/3 pound burger, American cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. The burger was seasoned well, was juicy, and had a good crust. The cheese was melted correctly, the bun is toasted, and the veggies were fresh. Her fries were cooked almost to a great crisp, but they required salt. I tried the Tom's Spicy Burger and fries. This is served with two 1/3 pound patties, grilled onions, jalapeños, special sauce, lettuce, tomato, and pepper jack cheese. The bun was toasted well, the burgers were seasoned, crusted, juicy and cooked perfectly. The cheese was melted and the veggies were fresh. The special sauce did not have a lot of flavor. It tasted like a spicy mayo. The spiciness could be turned up just a bit and there needs to be a little more sauce on the burger. Better Burgers and More serves breakfast all day, with several options and lunch entrées consisting of burgers and sandwiches. They also have daily specials. The service is great. The Fat Man says that Better Burgers and More is Fat Man Approved with 2 chins.”

Also, Hannah Terry did a beautiful job with microblading my brows last year! I always get compliments after using their services. Their work is stylish and never dated. “Was very excited about the new local food option. Building is brand new built for this purpose in an ideal location with easy interstate access. Newly hired staff is rocking it. Food was delicious! Management was very pleasant and took time to assist staff, greet customers, and ensure everything was going swimmingly. Will definitely eat here again and would recommend a stop if you are in the mood for beautifully breaded and seasoned chicken and shrimp with the iconic sides and scrumptious biscuits.”

Very Welcoming, the friendly members stayed after for hours to talk. We get invited to each others home and the church cares deeply about raising godly children. Fantastic church community.
