“We ended up staying longer than expected while we waited to close on a home. Larry and family were wonderful to meet and get to know. Jeff and Jerald who work for Larry and run the show, on The Hill, are awesome. There were several long term residents, but everyone was super nice and we made a lot of new friends during our stay. My only complaint was no laundry facility (otherwise it’d be 5 stars), but I think one is going to be added soon. Our kids fished, played pool, rode bikes, and stayed busy. The hill driveway was a great place to exercise, and having access to the whole property kept us occupied most days. Overall, incredibly accommodating hosts and nice facilities. It was an eclectic mix of folks while we were there, but all were super helpful and friendly and we are truly glad we had the opportunity to spend so much time with them. We’ll be staying in touch and going back to visit often. Much more laid back here than other campgrounds we’ve been to and we loved that! Highly recommend if you’re looking for off the beaten path and quiet. Its not super fancy like some snobby places we’ve had the misfortune of landing at, but they make you feel like family here and that makes all the difference in our minds.”

“This place is a GOLD MINE! -They have fantastic prices on a pretty big selection. Some items may be expired-but its items that the date doesn't bother with it. The young ladies are always nice. I believe they are Amish or Menonite. Supply changes so don't fall in love with an item & expect to get it again. You may & you may not. EBT is accepted. They have quilts, sewing supplies, a few hand made furniture items, & supplies for home-schooling. There's a sign on door that ask you to dress modest. No low neck line, no sleeveless shirts, & knees to be covered. We need more of that if ya ask me. Stop in-ya won't be disappointed when you check your receipt. Notice the hours--not reg. Bus. Hrs/days.”
