ROB REPAIRS LLC

This is the second car I have taken to Rob for transmission work. He repaired my 2007 Fusion around 150K miles, that car now has over 340K miles and still runs strong. Bought another Fusion, 2014 with 148K miles with the transmission not working, took it straight to Rob and Barb. Car was repaired in a timely manner and came in on budget. Very easy to communicate with and both are very professional. When picking up the car, Rob was very informative and we discussed the work that was completed. You can tell Rob is passionate about the work he performs, and it shows in the quality of work he puts out. This is the only transmission shop I would use. 100% recommend!

Rob has been working on our cars for close to 15 years. We followed him to wherever he was working and now his own shop. Honest, reasonable and very knowledgeable. Here’s a mechanic you can trust.

I quite literally live in and travel long-distance with a 36-year old Chevy van several other local mechanics told me wasn’t worth the work it needed. I first took it to Rob for a simple water pump replacement and since then he and Barb have been the primary support keeping it on the road when anyone else may have just given up on it. Since then he’s replaced/rebuilt the entire fuel system, repaired exhaust, sourced vacuum leaks, replaced valve seals (shops previously said this wasn’t possible and I should just replace the whole engine), and corrected so many other sleeper problems for safe measure all while giving me a ton of confidence in a classic vehicle that hauls quite literally my whole life. When it broke down in Cincinnati last fall, I had it towed all the way back to them instead of trying to find a local I didn’t trust and didn’t know the story. I don’t have to retire my van anytime soon because of them and that’s priceless. It’s the same hands and mind working on your vehicle every time and I’ll keep taking mine back there for as long as I am near Louisville.

Rob and Barb are the best in town. If you're looking for an honest and reliable mechanic look no further. Rob has an encyclopedic knowledge of many different makes & models and he's an ASE certified mechanic. Barb has excellent communication skills and you won't have to worry about not getting a call back from her. They make accurate estimates, keep you up-to-date on your car's progress, and Rob's mechanical work is impeccable. They care about their work and their reputation and it really shows. I can't speak highly enough of Rob and Barb and I will consistently recommend them to my friends and family.
