I enjoyed hiking here, there are mostly easy trails, although the climb up the hill may be more difficult for some. It's a quiet place and perfect for a quick getaway. My favorite part was the meadow. Many squirrels, chipmunks and birds. 🙂
This is not an easy hike. There are areas of trail that are very steep with loose rocks, uneven paths, roots and little invisible stumps sticking out of the ground. One steep incline even made the dog out of breath! If you want to see some of the water falls grab a pair of waterproof boots and hike the creek, gotta have a good heavy rain to see them. Some areas of the trail are grass and well maintained, lots of little bridges across the creek along the way. If you want an easier hike take the entrance at the end of the parking lot at the round about instead of the one by the bathrooms. Happy hiking!
My family including my dog love this place for a quick hike, and cardio.
Challenging trails that were very muddy, slippery and often times steep. Not to say it wasn't fun but plan on getting g dirty and seeing some beautiful waterfalls child.
