River Ridge, Gay Campground LLC

Amazing owners and perfect grounds. My partner and I had a wonderful time spending the day here and plan to come back soon and spend the night!

My husband and I camped at River Ridge for the first time this past weekend. We stayed at a tent site along the river. The site had a great view of the river and mountain. the site was well maintained with a fire pit and a electrical service. The Wi-Fi coverage worked great as well.
The owners, Matt & Craig, were very welcoming from the first point of contact, to our tour, and then during the booking process and check out process. You won't find a nicer pair of owners.
The grounds are well organized and maintained. The common areas are kept clean and welcoming. The pool and social pods are a great amenities.
All the members we met over the weekend were extremely nice and welcoming. Although this was not an event weekend, there was plenty to do and enjoy. We had a member campfire with music and performances on Saturday night. The conversations were great and inclusive. We could not have asked for a netter group of members to hang out with during our stay.
If you're looking for a place where you can get away, connect with the beauty of the mountains of Kentucky, and enjoy a great group of people, you will need to join us at River Ridge. Even if you are not the social type, there are plenty of things to keep out occupied. The camp has really nice trails and swings to sit along the river and listen to birds and watch the fish, turtles, and other wildlife. You can have a fire at your personal site and cuddle up with that special someone and enjoy the best that nature can offer. I must add, the fireflies or lightning bugs put on a nice show. Try to find that in a city!

This was my first time visiting a gay campground and I was a little bit apprehensive about going but as soon as I walked in the office door I knew I was going to enjoy the place.
Everyone was so friendly and generous. Made a lot of new friends and definitely looking forward to many visits in the future.

Even if the grounds aren't full of people, the ones we have met are amazing. There is a great tree line for the tent life, many rv spots and a few trails. The staff has been nothing but helpful and pleasant. The membership is worth it for a weekend getaway (staycations)
And after seeing some of the events, even better!!! Look forward to finishing the weekend out with happy memories

This place was absolutely awesome - we got there and instantly were met with a smile and were taken to our camper. We stayed in the Mallard and it was perfect for us. There were chairs and a picnic table at our site along with a firepit. The owners were out to see us and make sure everything was okay within an hour or so and were unbelievably friendly and accommodating. The campers that were there we so friendly and anytime anyone passed in front of your camper, they didn't hesitate to stop and welcome you into the campground and invite you to all the planned events that took place our weekend. We went swimming in the pool and soaked in the hot tubs with so many social people, within the first four hours people were calling us by name and we had met a large portion of campers. It was awesome. There were nightly campfires set up and you could go visit with everyone and hang out - they had a pot luck dinner on Saturday that was so organized and ran so smoothly- we are contemplating purchasing a camper and becoming seasonal members.
