If you are a weary traveler passing through the Renfro Valley/Mt. Vernon area on I-75, Rockcastle County, KY...and are in need of a good coffee /cappuccino fix - look no farther! Shaw and Nikki, recent transplants from Chicago, have opened a state-of-the-art gourmet coffee/espresso shop, with a wonderful array of pastries, Velvet ice cream from Utica Ohio! Not what you would expect to find near a large country music center in rural KY!

In addition to very friendly service, the shop is fully handicap accessible, with nearby parking, and restroom facility.

Do not pass this oasis up if you are a serious coffee/espresso connoisseur!

Looking for good coffee at 6:30am as we started the 2nd part of our journey and Twisted Stache was the only place open. So glad we found this gem. Coffee is great, place is adorable and the owner is warm & welcoming!

Came in on the grand opening and we were not disappointed! I got a ice creamacinno and my husband got coffee ice cream! We will definitely be going there again. Great service, atmosphere and food and I was so happy that they had cold brew coffee!!!!!

Tried their coffee for the first time today, and it was amazing! My husband and I are big on local coffee shops (although locally, we've had to travel about 30 minutes to find good coffee) and I am so thrilled this little coffee shop is just a 5 minute drive from our house! The coffee quality is amazing, whereas some places you go it tastes like burnt/bitter folgers, the coffee quality is amazing, rich, and not bitter at all. And the flavored coffee tastes GOOD, not like someone poured too much sugar and syrup in it, but a genuinely well balanced, yummy coffee. Within 5 minutes of getting it, we had already drank it and wished we got larges!

Seriously, you won't regret trying this. It is a wonderful gem that adds a lot to our little town. Finally, good coffee! Plus we met one of the owners and she was so kind, and quick despite making quite a few orders on her own for that time being. Super friendly, and a cute little coffee shop to boot!

We will absolutely be back. Oh, and also their ice cream is a must! My kids loved it, and I snuck a few bites of it because it was just so yummy.

Cute and fun atmosphere, you can tell the owners put their hearts into it! So thrilled. Literally some of the best coffee I've had, and I have tried a lot of coffee!

This place is probably the coolest coffee shop I have EVER been to... and that is saying a lot!! I have traveled to 43 of the US states and over 40 countries internationally. I found this gem off the highway on a road trip and decided to swing through. Now I feel like I am family and thinking about hanging around this country town for a few days to chat up the owners, Shaw and Nikki, who are probably some of the most amazing people you will ever meet!! If you're in the neighborhood... YOU DEFF NEED TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!!
