Not the cleanest of stores as far as clutter goes but the staff are REGULAR people. I don't like being harassed while shopping and the staff, while helpful when asked, leave me to my shopping. “I have read in the reviews about the staff not responding very quick to ring up the customers which I have experienced, however the true reasons this happens is because these girls are all so busy stocking, cleaning ect. and it shows because they take great pride in the appearance of this particular store in Verona. They normally will get with customers quickly as they have a chance to. It is a cut above the rest when it comes to dollar general stores. Gave it 4🌟s only because they also didn't have the item I've been hunting for in EVERY store I hit!!! BUT it ISN'T their fault as they are 3 trucks/orders behind in stock!!!😳 As with most places, their orders are stuck in a cargo ship in a port just waiting🙄. By no means their fault!!! Staff was really great and helpful. Had a fundraiser going on and REALLY good, fresh, cakes 🍰🎂 for sale!! Homemade, by the store manager!! $5-$6 and beyond worth it!! I'll definitely make the drive to THAT store again!! It was clean and nothing laying out on the floor just waiting to get put up!! ZERO boxes laying all over like most places!!
