“Bluegrass has always been our vet. Recently our manecoon, Chewy got sick again and to be put down. They were absolutely wonderful!! The girls up front can be a little gruff and yes they are pricey but they positively love your animal like they're own!! They always remember the animals name and special lil quirks about them.”

“Originally posted (3 years ago) w/o details. I quit taking my Red Bone hound to our Harrodsburg vet, when they cut his nails (all of them) too short, causing trauma. These people are gentle, welcoming, and very busy. He's a high strung dog & tough to handle, but they remain gentle & professional. We can't say enough for them. If 6🌟were an option....”

“Everyone in this clinic was so kind and compassionate. My dog became very ill about a month ago, and she is 13 years old. So I imagined it may be nearing the end of her life. Dr. Hazelrigg explained a few of the possibilities us. Ran a couple of tests, and now our Minnie is brand new. Turns out lymes disease was the culprit. I am greatful to have made the choice to take Minnie there she definitely received the best care.”

“I am so happy with the service here! We have dogs, cats, and chickens, goats and this vet can handle it all. From a house call for a flock of sick chickens, to a spey so good she didn't need stiches, to carring for my sweet cat who passed in my arms in the office...this staff cares for your animals like the family they are. Recent we adopted a cat needing her leg amputated further up. She was out of the vets and back with us in a few days ready to get back to cat life. I really appreciated how kind and empathetic they were when I had to put an animal down. They were gentle and quiet and give me and my family time to grieve. The prices are great and the vet remembers each pet well. The business is about family and community and you feel it walking in. I've never trusted a vet so much in my long experience with animals. They are a definite recommend.”

“I had a stray girl who we’d just found out was pregnant at 8mo old. CWL was able to get me in immediately for an emergency spay and kept in contact with me the entire time. They were super friendly and accommodating, keeping me updated during her procedure. Very reasonably priced as well. Pepper is now 2 years old and getting this procedure done quickly potentially saved her life because she was so young and malnourished when we took her in, vet said it was likely none of them would have made it if she’d had to give birth.”

“My nearly-14-YO greyhound suffered a catastrophic medical event yesterday. For the first time in 25 years of adopting greyhounds I was unable to find a vet available to come to our home and help her pass. I was aware of Dr. Tran and Mari through an acquaintance. We took her there on a Saturday night. Mari patiently helped me over the phone to find their office. The office was very clean and organized. The restroom was spotless. Dr. Tran and Mari were both extraordinarily kind to us and to my girl. They came out to our vehicle to administer the medications and I was able to be with her and hold onto her. After she passed away they were respectful of her body. I heard Mari talking to her. Dr. Tran sedated her first at my request. They arranged for her to be picked up by the crematory at my request. This clinic was available to me at a time when I was desperate to ease my girl’s suffering. I could not have asked for more in the way of kindness and competence. I’m very grateful.”

“Our 1st visit today with Dr. J. at Rock Vet. Our 1 year old German Shepherd, Sweet Lady Grace has an irritation on her left rear heel (looks like a carpet burn). The staff was welcoming, friendly, and great with our girl. Lady is a bit nervous in new situations and around new people. It didn't take long for her to relax and give kisses to everyone. The doctor was wonderful. He didn't try to push medications, special collars, or inflate our bill. He gave great information and different options for Lady's care and let us decide what options we were comfortable with. Rock Vet has definitely won our business in the future for all our fur-babies.”

“One of the Seneca staff saved my miniature schnauzer Mellie when she got loose from the yard after the storms. This is why I switched vets. Seneca staff make it easy to schedule appointments, let me stay in the room with my girls while they were getting shots and blood drawn, and the vet techs spoiled my girls with pets to keep them calm. Dr. Brinks is very personable and gives me lots of detailed info and options for the care of my girls. Results from bloodwork came back super quick! I'm glad I made the switch to Seneca!”

“BEST VETERINARY HOSPITAL AND CLINIC IN LOUISVILLE!!! Let me just say, I never write reviews but I am compelled to scream from the rooftops how GREAT this vet office is after yet another visit and reminder of how they stand above the rest! I can't say enough about the care, compassion and empathy that Dr Robertson and her staff have shown me and my pets over the years. My furry friends have had several ailments that other "big vet clinics" in Louisville (you probably all know the ones I'm talking about) either misdiagnosed or flatly refused to treat. In stepped Dr Robertson and her team of incredibly talented doctors and staff. They kindly took the time to truly understand my concerns, appropriately diagnose the issue and walk through treatment options. Unlike other clinics that make you wait hours and then spend two minutes with you, spending the entire time with their head in a clipboard; the wonderful people at Bannon Woods take their time to explain everything and are so very kind to my pups while doing so. From my understanding it is a family run business but the amenities and state of the art medical devices/tools they have are second to none and compare to, if not surpass, any large city vet chain I've been to in the past. "Cutting edge care" tucked away in a country setting in Fairdale. I've since moved far away from the practice but will never go to another vet office. I now drive 40 minutes from Prospect to visit Bannon Woods. If you love your fur children, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Pictured is my pup Teddy after his latest check up.”

“Jennie took care of my Captain the best she could with him being sick. The whole hospital helped me in anyway they could. Jennie called me even a couple days later to show her compassion and any advice she could give me on my situation. You don’t really see that anymore and that meant a lot to me. I appreciate all the help they provided and will be coming back with my other dogs. Thank you.”

“Outstanding Veterinary Care! I cannot express how grateful I am for the exceptional care provided by Carroll County Animal Clinic when my dog needed immediate attention. My dog had suffered a painful laceration, and the team at Carroll County Animal Clinic went above and beyond to help me during a stressful time. From the moment I walked through their doors, I was greeted with professionalism and the staff made sure my dog felt comfortable. They promptly assessed the injury and explained the entire procedure in a clear and reassuring manner. The stitches on my dog's wound were done with precision and care, and I could tell that they genuinely cared about my pet's well-being. The aftercare instructions were detailed, and the staff made sure I was well-informed on how to best help my dog recover. I highly recommend Carroll County Animal Clinic to any pet owner seeking top-notch veterinary care. Their professionalism, compassion, and expertise are truly commendable, and they have made a challenging situation much easier to bear. I am so grateful for the outstanding service they provided and the peace of mind they gave me during a stressful time. Thank you, Carroll County Animal Clinic, for your exceptional care and support. You are truly the best! Sincerely, Carl Harder”
