For fingerprinting, the wait wasn't bad at all. But I only needed fingerprinting not background check. Still they were getting people in and out although the guy at the desk was alone. The cost was about $11 and 1.5 hours. No cash.

They only print the form FD-258 so if you need an SF-87 then you must bring your own. They do not know where you can get one so do not assume that there is any coordination between federal and state governments on these requirements.

There is only a printed form that you will have to mail rather than electronic. I mentioned the SF-87 while checking in but I was given the FD-258. Found out I had to bring my own after processing.

So, just know that you will have to come back again if you do not bring your own and you need the SF-87. At least it's a Friday and I have flexible leave.
