There is not enough time or space to write all of the beautiful things I feel about this special space Julissa has curated at Vida. After meeting her and entering the space for the first time yesterday I am certain it will be a place I come to find great community within and through.

Catherine also leads a warming and deeply intentional yoga class on Monday evenings. This meditative flow left me feeling balanced and restored.

Even more special is her monthly Sound bath featuring the most beautiful instruments from gongs to sound bowls, tuning forks, wooden flutes, drums and more. I truly felt so much peace during and after this event and cannot recommend it enough.

I found this amazing place during my search for someone who’s experienced in manual lymphatic drainage after my procedure. I met with Julissa two weeks into my post-op care after leaving someone who I wasn’t satisfied with her service. She was more into selling me her products instead of treating me.

I was such a mess when Julissa started treating me. I was suffering from fibrosis and other deep scar tissues that I never thought would get better. I almost gave up on myself and was in so much pain. She was so gentle and patient with me. She recommended certain at home remedies & self treatments I can do to help heal faster. She would call & text me to see how I was doing & I would sometimes text her when in pain even at night and she would call me right back. She never forced me into buying anything she sold. She was just honest from the beginning and very realistic with my expectations. I was always looking forward to seeing her because of how she made me feel. As of today I’m pain free and I’m forever indebted to her. She also teaches yoga and a whole lot of of stuff that I plan on doing in the future. Oh! And I forgot to say she’s also a physical therapist.

The studio is very clean and the ambience & atmosphere is very relaxing. Dr Julissa loves her job. She goes above & beyond to give you the best care. She treats u with so much love and respect. Her bedside manners is impeccable. I could just go on & on with how amazing she is because she’s just that.

I waited for a month before writing this review because I wanted to see how consistent she’d be. She’s just the best out there and her talent and knowledge is unmatched.

This is my first experience with Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage for post operative care. After speaking with Julissa on the phone the first time, I was really drawn to her and Vida. I could not have been more right! Her place is spotless, calming and adorable, and most importantly, Julissa is an extremely talented therapist and a beautiful soul.

From my first appointment, I felt comfortable and felt like she was sincerely invested in me and my healing. Over the course of my treatment, she has been using a variety of techniques as I reach different stages of healing so that I could get the best possible results, all while educating me on every visit on how to continue even beyond her services.

I am so thankful that I found Julissa and Vida and am 100% certain that I would not have achieved this level of successful healing if I had not began treatment with Julissa. I cannot thank you enough, Julissa!!!!

Not only has my experience with my massages thus far been amazing; the results after just 3 sessions is outstanding… but the additional guidance and care that Julissa puts with her clients is unmeasured.

I’ve already expressed my excitement to have found this establishment as I continue to heal and take advantage of all the additional services they provide.

I am very big on the energy places provide you in terms of comfort and execution of service and I must say that Vida has it all!

I've known Julissa (the owner) for a couple of years now and just had the most amazing prenatal massage from her. The entire experience was wonderful! She propped me with many pillows to make me feel comfortable and supported. She massaged every body part and really focused on where I was holding tension. I loved the calming music, the essential oils and the candles. It was such a relaxing experience and I'd highly recommend anyone to check her out for any of her spa services.

I also teach yoga here and the space is always so clean and welcoming. The classes are kept small to keep things safe during covid. All mats and props are disinfected after each use. There is a wide variety of yoga classes, pilates, dance classes & more (all beginner friendly)! Definitely check out this hidden gem...it won't disappoint!
