“First rate company. Always on top of making sure you are happy with your stay at their properties. Grand isle doesn't look like much but it's a gem of a place. A slice of heaven for fishing crabbing shrimping. Never know what bounty she will provide each year. If crabs arent prevalent then you will reap benefits of fishing. If there a problem at your camp, which doesn't happen often, then a simple call to Island Reality will get it resolved quickly. They are very friendly and knowledgable. But then most people on the island are. Would give 10 stars if possible”

“This camp is perfect and affordable for all your family needs and in a great location. It’s across the road from the beach with easy access to the beach. It’s close to stores and snowball stand. The screened in area is really nice. The camp is clean and very roomy. The camp owner is very responsive and professional. He did everything to please his customers. I gave five stars because it’s really nice and a bargain. My only complaints would be as another person stated is the A/C at 74 is a little warm for me and took a little while to cool at night and the wagon shown in the picture is locked so I had to carry more to beach than I wanted. Like I said no real complaints because it’s great and I understand locking personal belongings so it’s there and in working order when you need it yourself. All in all you won’t find better deal for the size, and extras this camp offers. Thanks Camp Laid Back we enjoyed our stay back in June.”

“Come on and get your new home experience now. These apartments are updated with appliances, microwave, washer & dryers in the units already. Nice hard wood floors, the facility also has a pool area & gym that is currently being upgraded as well. Nice gated community to reside in. You won't be disappointed. Staff is courteous and friendly. I had an issue upon moving in, maintenance came quickly and fixed the issue with no problems. I'm enjoying it here.”

“Lived here for 10 years and enjoyed it. Great location but getting a little dated and needs some upkeep but townhomes are spacious lots of amenities and a great location. Does not flood! Convenient to Vets, I-10, and Metairie Rd. Nice pool and meeting room in small clubhouse. Close quarters though and neighbors can make a difference.”

“Sue was our buying realtor for about 5 months while we searched for a mid-sized single family home. She was prompt for appointments which mattered and on processing of documents. She was courteous and wore a mask during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has had some technical issues with the MLS system she used to locate properties and to send documents. There were a handful of mistakes on documents, but nothing too serious and they were always caught by us before being processed. Once she sent two random documents which were either for her personal use or another client's. She works best through phone and SMS and would prefer a text notification when something is sent via email. She was fairly good about keeping both my wife and I in the loop. She can be pushy about processing documents, which can often feel patronizing. Once I spoke with her on the phone and told her I would sign something when I got home. So she texted me again to ask about it ~20 minutes later and I told her I was still driving. Though generally she seemed willing to work with us, she was sometimes a bit pushy. We put in our offer for a home (3rd out of 5 offers for different houses), which was countered, we countered the counter, giving the caveat that we would not go any higher. Afterwards, she not only asked if we'd like to go higher, which is understandable I guess to verify, but she then followed it up telling us not to let $20,000 get in the way of us getting a home. Half of the houses we ended up looking at she had sent us, but the other half we found--occasionally she wasn't even able to locate them without us sending her a link. She was alright with explaining the process, but she generally waited to explain next steps until they were imminent. Overall it was a pretty neutral experience. I'm sure there are worse realtors, but I'm sure there are better as well. I think Sue works hard and is an honest person, but like everyone, she sometimes has to work harder to overcome her short comings. In the end, everything worked out great with purchasing our home. We almost scheduled closing for when Sue would be out of town, but it got delayed. She had notified us months in advance that she would not be available on those dates, but that she could get someone to represent us at closing if it came to that. Once it all wrapped up, she gave us a nice gift. If we ended up back on the housing market, we may use Sue again just because we know she's honest and know what to expect.”
