“Overall, pretty good. The original catfish chips are what they built the business on for the last 40+ years I've been going there. The grilled red drum was good but a bit dry along the edges. It didn't stop me from eating the whole thing. Thought about eating on the covered patio in the rear bit its getting too hot even in the evening. Did see a couple of gators in the back. Staff is friendly and courteous.”

“This is not the first time I have been to Popeyes , as a matter of fact we go to pick up supper once a week .My problem is the people there give us trouble every time we go there .The y either give us the wrong dinners r they forget an item r they give us spicy chicken (can't handle the heat ) instead of mild .Now why if we get such bad service do we still go there , we'll it's the good chicken no ! the great chicken. If we had another place around us with this great chicken we would go there instead .But unfortunately we don't. So week after week we go there & wait for our order to c what we got .We park off out of the way & open up the boxes to c what we got .We don't live that close , so that we could take it back so . . . . We have taken our food home without checking it ony to have to eat what we got . Thank you very much a very unsatisfied customer.”

“So Trudy's was closed unfortunately. They were located in one of the hardest hit areas from hurricane Ida. We as a line crew worked all day in front of Trudy's, and they were gracious and hospitable the entire time despite our noisiness and sometimes Savage ways lol... They brought us water and let us Park our trucks there and in general were good people, so I don't care how their food is I've never had it, it doesn't matter go to Trudy's and support this business.”

The only thing that annoys me is how they make me pull around to being my food out. I wish they would allow customers to sit on the clock. The blueberry margaritas were an unexpected refreshing pleasure to this experience. It seems I have taken this place for granted. I had bang bang shrimp and bang bang calamari for appetizers. I had grouper for my meal. It was better than expected. The waitresses were on top of their game. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. If you visit cajun country, you may want to stop in and experience what they have to offer.”
