Black Lake Club Bait & Tackle

Band was good and had a great time.

From New Orleans you have to take like 6 consecutive right hand turns which seems impossible but you wind up here. Incredible swamp access from what feels like an removed and isolated place. The bar is a true gem.

Small town , Louisiana hole in the wall you don’t wanna miss. $5 boat launch, bar, and food. The hamburger and cheese fries are my favorite. The waterways in the area are phenomenal and just a few short minutes ride to lake maurepaus. This little treasure is worth the ride.

Great launch $5.00 fee but it's always worth it. Even if you don't catch anything it's beautiful water and nice scenery every time. It's called Black lake for a reason there's no tributaries that lead to it so its always dark clear water, if you get bored you can always go to the bar at the launch and fill up on food and drink.
