(May 10, 2019, 1:15 am)Was in St. James parish at Welcome Park for the annual wild game cookoff. Cooking teams were from as far as Lake Charles, LA as well as plenty of local talents. All of the dishes I tried were delicious. Some of the delacies included elk chili, smoked coon, stewed nutria, all kinds of deer dishes, fried chicken, cabbage, cornbread, boiled turkey necks, boiled pig feet, barbecue pig feet, smoked and barbecue pork chops, smoked quail, wild hog and deer meatballs boiled neck bones, boiled crawfish and boiled crabs. There were other dishes but I just can't cover them all. Also, the DJ was off the chain! What a good time!!!!!!
