“I desperately needed to see a dentist following oral surgery to check my bite after a severe infection following a tooth extraction and immediate implant gone awry. I was in excruciating pain that was unrelenting. I was referred by my oral surgeon to Dr. Ferrara to check what the surgeon thought was a misaligned bite. . I can’t tell you how lucky I was to walk into his office and be seen by this capable, knowledgeable and professional man. He was extremely thorough in his approach, listened to the case, and offered an opinion totally unexpected but, it all made sense where my pain was coming from and it wasn’t my bite. There are a lot of dentist out there and you are flying blind unless someone tells you where “not to go”versus “where to go”. Go to this man. He knows his stuff and practices with honesty integrity and skill. I’d give him 100 stars if I could.”

The only "discomfort" was the initial shots of anesthetic which of course can't be avoided.
