Distinguished Glass

We’ve used DG three times as we can’t seem to stop breaking our glass doors and medicine cabinet beveled glass doors around our house. From the first time we have experience nothing but professionalism and top quality with them. Michelle is absolutely AMAZING!!! Girl knows how to run the business! Jeff has replaced our back door twice. He’s also AMAZING! Very professional, cleaned up after himself and very flexible. Everyone at DG goes above and beyond! These are qualities that are hard to find around Slidell. If you need anything glass, DG is the place to go. You will not be disappointed. Good professional job, nice courteous people, worked hard the whole time they were here. Reasonable rates. Appt at 10 showed up at 1, what else is new. The staff kept me informed as to when they would get there and reason why they'd be late so I wont deduct stars.

I cannot remember the gentleman‘s name that came out and repaired my broken window, but he did a great job! He was cordial, professional, and knew what he was doing. He advised me that the window does not sit plumb in the window jam, so he put a rubber shim under the window frame and onto the jamb and advised me not to remove the spacer for a few days to let the caulking fully set.

He also told me he installed thicker pane glass into the frame, which was originally only 3/8” single pane glass in the broken window that has been there since the 1960s. He also informed me the 1/2” gap on the sill will need to be plugged and filled after the plumbing caulk dries.

We have a house in Slidell for sale with 2 huge exterior windows double paned that had been broken and needed replacing. We called another well known glass place in Slidell then I called Camelia City and spoke with Mike. He was very knowledgeable and friendly & his quote was $200 lower & he used tempured glass in the lower windows since they sat so low to the ground which the other company didn't suggest. We live out of state so it is always scary to trust that someone isn't going to just take your money and not do the job but he was very honest and sent photos of the completed work and our realtor checked on the work. I would highly recommend Camellia City Glass!
