“I had my first visit with Dr. Dietze, today and I cannot speak highly enough of him and his staff. Everyone I encountered was helpful, comforting, and compassionate. There were no short answers, rushed or exasperated responses. Ms. Gerri scheduled the appointment and answered my barrage of nervous questions. Dr. Dietze's nurse, Margie, was kind, patient, and attentive. Then there was Dr. Dietze; it's been a long time since I've had a doctor enter an exam room carrying no notes or laptops/tablets. He pulled up a chair, sat directly across from me (no desk separating us) and spoke WITH me. He explained everything completely, answered all of my questions, listened to what I wanted and then we worked out the treatment TOGETHER. He didn't break the flow by taking notes nor was he distracted by phone alerts. He honestly listened to my concerns and factored them into our plan. It was like "the old days." He was genuine, his bedside manner was excellent, and he was thorough. He did run late (I read online that he often does), but gosh, to have that level of attention and patient-centered care was well, WELL worth it. If you find yourself in the situation of needing a neurosurgeon's consult, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Dietze.”
