Love the settings....love the service....live music was great...attention to detail...beyond friendly servers. The only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5 is because at this price the food was not quite at the level I expected. It was good ...but at these prices I have had better food from other places. It might just be a case where they set expectations so high in every other area that the slightest weak spot shows up more. I would happily go back ...but I have found better steaks at this price in other areas, same for most of the other food. If they were just 1 step down in price point they would be 5 star across the board. But comparing them to others at this same price point I have to be fair....they nail it in every other area. If you are looking for "very good" food vs "excellent food", with world class atmosphere and service, they are spot on.”

“Food was very good, but i was surprised i was charged $1.00 for limes when i asked for some... $1 for a quarter of a 30cent lime - unreal. I heard they also charge for chips and salsa.$2.. if they are going to nickel and dime everything, they should tell you before or put it on the menu... which is about 25% higher for everything than the menu on their website. Pretty easy to swap out a new picture of their menu. Food was good.. service good too.”

“What an AWESOME experience! Definitely one of our favorite memories from our trip to New Orleans! We saw lots of egrets, turtles, and best of all lots of gators!! It was amazing! Xander was an excellent, fun, and friendly tour guide and really knew his stuff. It was also neat to see the houses of the people who live off of the swamp and to hear a little about their lifestyle and culture. My kids absolutely loved it when the boat got up to high speeds! They had a blast!! I will say, I think the tour could have been just fine perhaps 15–30 minutes shorter, as my little kids' attention spans and hungry tummies started making them a little restless after about an hour and a half of the tour, but for older participants, I'm sure that's not as much of a problem. I would recommend bringing a jacket in case it gets a little chilly. Overall, an incredible and memorable experience with no regrets! Don't pass this one up!”

“Need to pick something up really quick and you want to shop local? This is the place. It’s got a very cool small-town feel and it is never crowded at all. The staff are very responsive and helpful, and the prices are very good, even though the inflation is not. While there have been a few mark-ups it hasn’t been too bad. I definitely prefer this store to the cramped and not to friendly dolled general just next door, especially since it carries much of the same stuff.”

“It is still my favorite theater, but am disappointed they arent showing In The Heat Of the Nught for the 50th anniversary. It was a landmark film with a wonderful score and exceptional acting. “I met with Dr Patel yesterday and can truthfully say that he was the most personable and kind PCP I have ever met. His office scheduling process was a breeze and was able to get a new patient appointment within a week. His staff, including nurse Amber were very welcoming and helpful as well. I am not one who enjoys seeing the doctor but am very much looking forward to seeing Dr Patel at my follow-up in a a few weeks and getting the chance to chat with him again.”

Some were just beginning their lunches while others were busy in what looked like physical therapy, it may have just been an exercise room, I don’t know. The patient I went to visit is there for rehab, she appeared to be comfortable and her room was very clean and tidy.”

“Our lights had been flickering and CLECO discovered that the "lug" that holds down the neutral wire in our main box going into the panel box was broken, so they had to completely shut our power off until we could get it repaired. We called at least 8 electrictrians and Mr. Leger called me back and asked for me to text him some pics of the box. He then gave me two estimates. The first one was for if he could piece it together by just replacing the lug and the next was if the lug was riveted to the box like he thought. He said he would be here at 8 am the next morning to fix our problem. Unfortunately the lug was riveted to the box because it was orginal with the house from 1977. Mr. Leger showed up on time, he was very hard working and his estimate was spot on. He worked very hard with minimal breaks in some of the hottest weather this summer to get us up and running. We highly recommend him for any electrical needs you may have. Hes honest, hard working and his price was fair. He did a very big job for us that took all day and we are very grateful. Thank you again Mr. Leger from Darrell and Colette.”

“We stayed there for a short getaway and found the facility and our hosts very inviting. There is a lot to see and do in the area and they made sure that we knew where to go. Cressy House is just 200 feet from Lake Ponchartrain where you will see beautiful sunsets across this 24 mile wide lake, and sunrises as well if you are an early riser which we are not. The waterfront offers a scenic place to stroll, enjoy the view and people watch. David and Laura Cressy are very welcoming and we felt like old friends before we left. The room came with a very comfortable bed, private bath, delicious home made muffins and a fabulous jar of marmalade from her sister-in-law's kitchen. You will enjoy yourself at Cressy House. We will definitely go back.”
