I’m here now and place is great. Good vibes. Everyone is friendly and the people that work here are awesome, very helpful. They have little events like bingo, chili cook off, a little Mardi Gras parade…etc. Anytime we are back in the area this will be our go too. They are are also still adding things, so just going to get better. Great spot for my Airstream. 😎
We've been here nearly a month and absolutely love it! Clean and well kept with friendly staff and consistent presence. Convenient location close to dining and shopping but tucked away in a very quiet area. My only complaint is that there are only 2 washers and dryers but that's easy to work around. Monthly rates available during the off season and we'll definitely be back to take advantage of that!
Really enjoying our month long stay here at Fireside RV Resort this March (2023). 🤩
Our site is nice and wide. Good water pressure and power has been stable minus the 30amp breaker dying... but staff was at our site within minutes of calling the office.
My only complaint is our new Starlink is partially obstructed... but a small price with the beautiful trees and surroundings.
Based solely on customer service, I'm leaving 5 stars for this establishment. I accidently booked 2 nights in March - meaning to book at Fireside Resort in Jackson Wyoming. I called the front desk and was greeted by a very friendly woman who referred me to the owners email as I was inside 72hours notice to cancel with refund. The owner promptly replied and reimbursed me. Being from Canada, it may not happen but it I'm ever heading through Louisiana a detour to stay at this campground will be a priority!
Campground is very clean. The staff and the campers are very nice and helpful. There's a lazy river with a swim up bar. They do provide a limited amount of floating tube rafts but a few people brought their own in case they ran out. No one complained and it was allowed. They even have an air tank so you don't have to blow up your rafts. They do sell food and drinks by the pool area. The pizza was good. There are covered areas with chairs, tables, and lay out areas. Very nice campground and worth it for everything that comes with it.
