(May 4, 2018, 1:14 pm)Training at MKC has not only taught me karate but many other physical, mental, and emotional skills. It is a very supportive and collaborative group. Sensei Patrick and sensei Matty take the time to work individually with each of us. We learn good karate techniques, and we also learn how to apply them into real life situations for self-defense, which makes it more fun and useful. I’m glad I found this dojo!
(April 25, 2018, 2:15 pm)I have been studying martial arts over thirty-three years. I've seen quite a few instructors in that time. Master Patrick Bast in an elite class as a Karate instructor. His passion and dedication to his students and the most valued traditions of Karate are second to none. Master Bast and the MKC instructors do not run a Karate car wash type of program where you drive in and get pushed through. They take the time to build up the students and enrich and empower them. I highly recommend Master Patrick Bast and MKC Karate.
