Run, do not walk, to hire April and her amazing team for your wedding or honestly any event where you want to look and feel your absolute best!!!! I hired April to do my hair and makeup for my wedding, and I have honestly never felt more beautiful in my life. She really takes into account your natural hair texture and color, eye color, skin tone, and is able to create the perfect look for your day. My bridesmaids had a variety of hair textures and skin tones, and everyone looked perfect when they left the chair. The entire hair and makeup process for my bridal party was so relaxed, professional, and seamless and we all had the most fun morning getting ready together.

April and her team are obviously great at what they do with hair and makeup, but April is also extremely professional with the business side of things (timely issuing of contracts, clear and consistent communication, open and easy to talk to about your vision for hair and makeup, the list goes on). She recommends doing a hair and/or makeup trial before your event (not a required service but I HIGHLY recommend it!!!) where you can bring in inspiration photos and discuss your vision about your hair and makeup and literally do a trial run of how you will look on your big day. I am so glad that I did a trial because my original vision of what I wanted my curly textured hair to look like looked nice, but it didn't really feel like "me" and I was able to figure that out in my trial and we were able to shift gears to a style that made me feel STUNNING and completely authentic at my wedding.

April and her assistant also did the hair for all five of my bridesmaids and my two moms, the full makeup for two bridesmaids, and eyelashes and lips for the other bridesmaids. Everyone looked so beautiful all night long and all of our hair and makeup looked flawless through my entire wedding after a LOT of dancing on a summer evening.

April and her team were absolutely phenomenal! They are informative and can seamlessly create a make-up/hair look that fits your style and vision. Initially, I wasn't sure what I wanted for my bridal look during my trial. However, April and Jordan were able to provide feedback on their thoughts/suggestions on what would be most flattering based on my complexion and wedding dress. They have such friendly and sweet personalities - which definitely eases the nerves on the wedding day! They are the perfect combination between professional and down-to-earth, and I would recommend them to any future brides!

April did my hair and make up for my wedding day and I couldn't be happier to write a review for her services! I did an initial trial and provided some feedback and notes based on the trial. April listened and adjusted perfectly to all of my wants and needs. I was a little particular about exactly how I wanted my hair and at the same time I was nervous about the make up since I don't usually wear that much...but again April listened and completely nailed the vision I had for myself on my wedding day. I felt beautiful and confident all day and received tons of compliments on my look. It was evident she truly wanted me to be happy. She was professional, flexible and also just really enjoyable and fun to be around which for me was really helpful when dealing with some nerves on a big day!

It's so hard to put into words how a great makeup artist can impact your confidence as a bride on your wedding day. April and Alma did makeup for me, my mom and my five bridesmaids for my wedding a few weeks ago and I cannot recommend this business more. Not only did I feel the most beautiful I've ever felt, but April also brought such a fun, energetic presence to the morning as we got ready for the big day!
