I don't think all these houses were there or there there probably was an open area in the woods here to have the festival, landscapes change. If you are interested in reading the article about John's death Google 'John J. Wood Washington Post', it will be the first result as of now. I'm posting this to keep his memory alive. John treated my Mom great, I grew up with a framed photo of him in the house, and he could have been my father if he wasn't murdered. He survived be his parents (RIP) and sister. “Nice having another dog park option, and it's free. County could empty the waste bins a bit more frequently, especially in summer, and the water well is cut off based on a date, not temperature so it's off even in 50 degree weather if it's November. Can be pretty muddy but it was a rainy year. Biggest complaint is inattentive dog owners, but that's all dog parks I suppose, not this particular location.”

“Good views and a good place to have a picnic or small barbecue. There is on small spot that has sand where you can actually get to the water without treading through high grass. Open dawn until dusk and one of the very few places that is does not cost any money to park but there isn't any amenities other than picnic tables and small grill.”
