“My friend and I were craving a burger and some wings so decided to stop in to the All American Steakhouse. It was a crowded Thursday night and we arrived about 7:00 pm. We found seats at the bar and were immediately approached by a bartender and asked if we wanted menu's and what we wanted to drink. Overall, the service was very attentive and positive. One note, my buddy and I ordered the same beer but when they arrived, one of them definitely wasn't the same as the other. Not sure what happened but they were cold and tasted fine. Burgers were ordered, delivered and consumed. They were juicy, well appointed in terms of toppings and condiments and overall, done to my liking. It was crowded but not so much so that we couldn't carry on a conversation. I'd return and recommend it for an easy going night out for casual food.”

I never knew about this place but am very proud that i did find out about it because i have always liked good sushi but there wasn't a lot of shied and hibachi places near me until Ginza. “I can't believe I ate the whole thing I was here for a wedding rehearsal dinner. So although we didn't order directly from the menu, we were able to observe the staff, the ambience and the food. We had a scrumptious ribeye steak that was so tender, tasty and juicy I can't believe I ate the whole thing. It was accompanied with asparagus and a creamy pile of mashed potatoes. It was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. The event was held in the downstairs private hall, and could seat a few hundred people. The room was not well lit and had low ceilings, which wasn't ideal for photos. There was an area to go outside and take a few photos on a dock to capture the surroundings. In the summer I'm sure this would be wonderful as there are many windows surrounding one side of the room. Food-wise, it is a 5 star restaurant, but the low ceilings and dimly lit rooms were a 4.”

“Fresh ingredients for my sandwich, friendly service and accommodated me getting a whole sandwich instead of a 6" using their daily sandwich sale (6" + chips + drink = $6) while applying a fair upcharge of only $3.50. I think $9.50 for a 12" + chips + drink is a pretty good deal, considering my 12" sub would've been $8 and the chips/drink would've been $1.89 each if I had bought it all separately. Remember: it's only Subway. If you're expecting 5-star food/services, you'll hate it. If you're expecting Subway, though, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food/services. Fresh, fast and friendly is the Edgewater Subway!”

“Stopped by there today with the family for lunch & absolutely LOVED the food. They tailor made my wife’s eggplant Parmesan without notice (that is a dig at Carrara’s). The employess were courteous and engaging on the quality of our food & eager for our immediate feedback. The personal touch is what you get by going to these “mom & pop shops” vs the mega chains. I didn’t know what to expect as I hadn’t been there before but now when in the area I will DEFINITELY stop by again.”

“I had a blast! I went for the Deal of light Christmas boating parade. There was a lot of people there but everyone was able to get the service, drinks and food they needed. There is about 4 bars that were open that night one in the main restaurant where you can sit down and eat dinner on one side or choose to sit at the bar on the other side. Through the restuarant there are double glass door leaded out to the docks to the separate 2 level bar and outside area where you can stand and socialize or sit at outside tables. I liked that they had standing heaters for people standing out in the cold to watch the decorated boats go by. Only used the bar outside to get drinks and the service from the 2 lady's working the bar was great! It was shoulder to shoulder packed in there but I never had to wait to get a drink. I cannot wait to go back to get the full inside experience. Well done!”

“I've been needing a pool hall in the area since Big Daddy's closed. And, just as I was giving up hope of finding a place, one of my friends from Bill and Billies (yeah, I'm old, shut it!) told me about Brews &Cues. So, I figured I'd go find out if they were any good. And they are! Full sized tables, with good surfaces, decent house cues (I keep forgetting to bring mine) and a good food menu. Go, shoot a few games, and enjoy yourself!”
