This was my favorite elementary school. I attended 4. I was at Lyndhurst from 1958 to 1960 Those stairs in the back of the school kept us all skinny and healthy (OK that and our wonderful Lyndhurst Park).
Lyndhurst Elementary is one of the best schools in Baltimore City. The staff, parents, and students operate like one big family. When I was younger I attended this school and now my children are attending the school. Dr. Lowe is an awesome administrator who is always fair and tells it like it is without sugar coating anything. I love her and the atmosphere at the school. My children have been blessed to have teachers that genuinely care about them succeeding and not just collecting a check. Shout out to Ms. Christian, Ms. Chapman, Mr. Holsey, Ms. Paschall, Ms. Boss, Ms. Watkins, Mr. Joynes, and Ms. Lockheart. Mr. Jerome, Officer D, Ms. Butler, and Mrs. Parker are also apart of the winning team. So, if you are at any school other than Lyndhurst you are missing out!
School Information. Lyndhurst Elementary Middle School was built in 1926. Over the years, the school has served the students and community of Edmondson Village. As of July 1, 2015 Lyndhurst is a community school and works in partnership with the University of Maryland School of Social Work (SWCOS).
