(December 17, 2018, 2:49 pm)While the entrance road seems easy to miss, the nature center is worth finding. The rustic building is filled with friendly staff, ready and able to share information about their animals. On a cold day you might be able to sit beside a fire in the fireplace!

(December 8, 2017, 5:37 pm)The building is pretty small but they have some pretty cool animals (mostly reptiles and amphibians, plus few birds). I especially liked the large lizards and the chameleon because of its colors. They keep it pretty warm so your more likely to see the snakes and other reptiles active (and it's a great respite from the cold of winter). Plus, all the animals are rescue animals and the staff are friendly and happy to help you find the sneakier animals.
