“If you can get there, this place is perfect. Therein lies the charm. I highly recommend packing in overnight via kayak or canoe! Waking up for a sunrise swim is a delightful experience. The sandy point is perfect for beachside reading. BRING BUG SPRAY. The interior of the island is a swamp and those bugs come out at night in droves.”

“The park is lovely. There are places for children to play, piers to fish off. I saw 4 dock to larch your boat. That's why we where the for the boat larch. The park is clean, rest rooms. Picnic tables, plenty of parking for vehicles & trailers. Going back.”

“So I past by this park all the time on the way to work sometimes, and when I went there today i was amazed at how nice the park was. You wouldn't know it driving up and down eastern Blvd, but it's a nice place. Good for parties and events (pavilions are pretty big), nice space for running, walking your dog or letting kids play (playground) and is not far from the beltway (I-695). Great park to consider going to if you're in the Essex/middle River area”

“I absolutely love this park! The scenery is beautiful, even on a cloudy day. There are benches and picnic tables throughout the park and a pavilion. Cox Point is also well maintained.”
