“Loved it. It's a great location for weddings. They offer different events each year and programs of environmental studies for both adults and children. We loved the trails. We'll definitely come back!”

“Choate Mine Trail connects with both Dolfield Trail and Red Run Trail. Portions of the Choate Mine Trail are pretty muddy at times, but I love hiking these trails. First of all they're nearby, so I don't have to travel far to get to them, but also the area is so unique. It makes me feel like I'm hiking in southern Utah. I can choose the route I take by how much time I have. Choate Mine Trail is just a little over one mile, but connecting all three trails, Choate Mine, to Dolfield, to Red Run and back to Choate Mine can stretch it out to 3.25 miles. Add the Serpentine trail to that and you can get around 6 miles of hiking in, right in the same area.”
