“The visitor center is a great addition to the Hampton National Historic site. Stop by at the start of your visit to sign up for the next house tour, learn about the site and ask the rangers any questions you have. There are restrooms, a gift shop and a few exhibits about the site as well.”

“The farm at Hampton National Historic Site provides a different perspective on life at the Hampton plantation and shouldn’t be missed. There are ten historic buildings and lots of information about the lives of servants and enslaved people. Many of the buildings are open to the public, but they close a bit earlier than the mansion so don’t save them for last. The guided tours and special programs are really interesting. Check at the visitor for times and info.”
