“Broadmead does a very nice job with care, and has a pleasant facility that encourages community and activity among its members. The grounds are well kept, and there is a nice selection of options depending on the kind of care needed, and the freedom that residents want. There is a significant community of hobbyist artists, and a generally warm feeling both in the individual residences and the main building. While it's a bit off the beaten path, and the food (if you are staying and eating with a resident at the cafeteria) is "just okay", this is over all one of the best elder residences I have seen. ”

“Don't give up. A more functional life is still possible -- I had been trying to improve my shoulder function after a slap tear more than ten years ago. Several PT therapist groups have worked with me over the years which produced some small improvements in my symptoms. Deciding to try one last time I contacted Evolution Sports Physiotherapy and was matched with Lisa Kanning. My feeling is that Lisa approached my problem as if I was an athlete rather than an aging adult. This approach was both effective in improving the function and my motivation to stick to the at-home program. I appreciate the therapy and guidance Lisa provided.
