“Cute little light house with a small visitors center. Lots of information on the history. You can go into the base of the lighthouse but you can't walk up it. It is free and very neat but I wouldn't drive all the way up just to see it. We were maybe only there a half hour at most. Worth the stop if you are in the area. Plan additional activities if you're coming in from somewhere else.”

Theres a nice place to eat lunch outside, you can take a tour of the lighthouse, watch otters and jellyfish float around! So much history from this place and lots of interactive maps and old boats! So go check it out! Its worth it!”

“It's easy to overlook this place but it represents an important piece of Maryland and Chesapeake Bay history. Lots of old photos and explains why there are so few oysters left. It's a short visit and it's free. The guy there was very nice and helped identify the shells I found at Calvert Cliffs.”
