“I had the opportunity to capture a wedding at Chesapeake Beach Resort & Spa, and was blown away by how beautiful everything was! My couple had a very rainy wedding day, with the news calling for severe storms & wind, but the resort still made sure their requested outdoor ceremony was stunning and comfortable despite the weather. So many beautiful spots for pictures- the hotel rooms are clean and spacious for getting ready portraits, a beach style area for ceremony/ portraits & a beautiful pier with boats in the background. The reception space is large with a spacious bar, large dance floor & the food was incredible! I would recommend any couples wanting a beautiful, waterfront wedding to check out this venue!”

“Our cruise was awesome!!! The crew (Lloyd and Chris) was great; experienced and friendly. The boat is comfortable and ride was smooth. The weather was perfect today and the sunset was absolutely gorgeous. You can bring your own refreshments too. We can't wait to do it again.”

Rod 'N' Reel Restaurant

Address: 4160 Mears Ave, Chesapeake Beach, MD 20732, USA

Restaurant

“Service today was very good. The half and half cream soup was very good, though it works have been better if it were a little hotter. I had fried calamari. Though I didn't care for the sauces, the calamari was excellent. It was perfectly crispy and hot and delicious. I recommend both the soup and the calamari.”

Chesapeake Beach Railway Museum

Address: 4155 Mears Ave, Chesapeake Beach, MD 20732, USA

Museum

“This is a place worthy of a detailed tour. The information about the railway, the era when it was popular, and the surrounding regions economic condition, is a very interesting and worthwhile study. Plus that they present family fun days twice a year is twice the pleasure when you have younger children who want something unique. Even being a small, County run Museum, it's worth multiple hours with teenagers who can pay attention or research the railway history information.”
