“A great local hardware store. Its very convenient being so close to my home. The staff are great and always helpful. A star was deducted for the prices being a little higher than bigger hardware store (and I mostly don't mind due to the convenience factor), and that they often don't have enough of the item I am looking for. For instance, I wanted a few air registers and they had 1, or in another case I needed a few clay flower pots and they had 1. Overall a good hardware store though.”

“Joe and his team did a great job! He scheduled renovations so work flowed well. Example: he didn't start demolishing something until all materials were on hand. He and his team were fun. He actively suggested ways to save money without cutting corners and also talked me into spending a little more when it made sense (when he knew I'd be much happier with the extra value or appearance if I spent a little more). He proffered good ideas on how to improve things functionally and aesthetically and was very honest. I initially did not go with his recommendation to install a larger 2nd deck porch and then changed my mind on the size after it was framed out. He just smiled (without saying "I told you so") and found ways to restock some material or use it in other jobs, and saved me money on the change order. I was pleased with J Square's work. J Square does large, medium, and small jobs, renovations, additions and new construction. I highly recommend them!”

Neil, the owner, is an incredibly honest and fair-minded businessperson who truly treats his clients as he himself would hope to be treated. He has always been exceedingly honest and never tries to "sell you something" if not necessary. He has always responded right away and has almost always come out the same day. He keeps a good stock of commonly failing parts on the truck and usually has us up and going the same day. When he's had to order parts, he's always followed up as soon as he gets the part and tries hard to make an interim repair if possible. His rates are more than fair. You can trust his word. There are precious few businesses you can say that about anymore. I refer friends and family to him, including my kids as they've bought their own homes.
