“I have been attending Church here since we came to this area, back in 1986. We have seen many changes made to our local congregations during this time. Adjustments have been made to worship service times, and to Church curriculum, in an effort to accommodate the growing Mount Airy/Damascus communities, as well as an increasingly diversified Church membership. Our family has been privileged to be a part of the "growing pains" in each congregation, as, in each one, we have learned to more fully and personally embrace the message of Christ to, "Love one another as I have loved you; love one another." (paraphrased). Our goal is to embrace and include every member and visitor who walks through our doors on Sunday, no matter where they may be in their understanding of Christ's mission, or their daily walk with the Lord. Even though we have regularly attended Church for over 40 years, each Sunday, we come to our worship service in need of the fellowship experienced with other believers and the spiritual refreshing we get from participation in the service. Every worship service, or Sacrament meeting, includes the sacred ordinance of the Lord's Supper, blessed and passed to everyone in attendance. It is the perfect way to shed or repair the unseen emotional, intellectual, spiritual, etc., damages or hurts experienced during the previous week, and to draw strength to meet the challenges of the coming week, from the music, the Sacrament, and the talks in our worship services. We invite you to bring your Bible and come to share our worship of God, the Eternal Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ, through and with the abiding power of the Holy Ghost. It's a wonderful way to celebrate the Sabbath. (No Bible? No problem! Our Church library has scriptures to borrow for the day, or you can share the Bible of the member sitting next to you ????.) Two congregations meet in this location; the first, at 9:00 A.M., and the second, at 1:00 P.M. These times are current through the end of 2018; changes may be made to these meeting times after the first of 2019. “We have been members of St. Andrews for around 5 years now, and we can’t imagine our lives without this wonderful community of people and faith! Pastor Dan’s messages are relevant to the chaotic world we live in. He is able to bring Christianity into focus as a part of daily life, not something that is scary and overwhelming, but the day-to-day of living with faith. The Praise Team’s music is the cure for ALL souls. There isn’t a chance you could leave service on a Sunday feeling anything less but refreshed and recharged. Quite possibly the most unique piece of the St. Andrew’s puzzle is the family we’ve created in our community. People are welcomed with open arms and hearts, and the feeling of knowing you have the support system here is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this church!”
