(October 10, 2018, 12:04 pm)Incredible history in the family and it's positive contribution to the beginnings of our country. The working mill is a beautiful site. I bought different kinds of flour and cornmeal and have enjoyed the Shriver Homestead recipes very much. A National Treasure. Truly. They had a very tough year with the extensive rainfall this year and had to cancel 2 main fundraisers. If you are in the area when they are open, stop by and ENJOY the history. Lots of info on their website!
(July 22, 2018, 9:02 am)Very cool. Tons of history. Great civil war event going on this weekend. The property is also amazing having the main house and mill being built in the late 1790ies. Worth a visit.
