There's everything to like about John. From our first meeting I was completely at ease. He's relaxed and straightforward and the studio is a great workspace. I came in to get help with an injury from a riding accident that happened quite awhile before. Even after other therapies, I had loss of flexibility and ongoing pain. Since then, John has designed an amazing program for me and now I'm more comfortable and effective in my work as a horse trainer, with all its physical demands. (THANKS, John!)
I have been working with John for about 5 years now and he has really helped me improve my strength, flexibility and overall well being. Each work out is customized for the areas that I need to improve and he keeps them fast moving and fresh. I would highly recommend John.

I have worked with John at Renewed Strength for over four months and love the process and the results. I thought I was in pretty decent shape for my age (61); however, the TPI scoring quickly identified my weaknesses. I like the one-on-one sessions because John is able to tailor exercises specifically to your capabilities and needs while being mindful of any physical issues. Exercises are always somewhat different to keep things interesting and focus on different aspects of your fitness as related to the golf swing. I believe that John has a truly unique understanding of exercises that relate to both bio-mechanics and the golf swing. The results of my training are that I hit the ball more consistently and farther, and my scores have gone down. Though I ended the 2016 season with an index of about 12, my current index is down to 7.6. Last season I had a total of 6 rounds under 80; I have already had 8 rounds under 80 this season (March to May). I even had 5 birdies in one round! I can’t say enough good things about Renewed Strength….highly recommended!
I love golf. My back does not. Tried better living through chemistry (muscle relaxers) and that doesn't work. John did an assessment to understand my limitations. He identified specific muscle groups to strengthen my back and my back has never felt better. We also worked successfully to increase flexibility. My handicap is headed down and there is no back pain.
My need was specific to golf. I'm confident John can help non-golfers as well. Highly recommend John and Renewedstrength.
