“This place is home. I love Wesley Freedom UMC. It's a safe, community driven space: the church has a clear mission to do good work week after week. There are so many ministries that reach out to help our community: Hope Rising, the South Carroll Food Pantry, Feed My Sheep, EYLC, and so many more. It definitely starts with strong leadership. Rev. Pastor Jenny is a treasure. She fights to make sure we all feel heard and seen. She is extremely intelligent and supportive of our success in doing good things in the community. I had a stroke last year, and she came to my house to check on me. During the pandemic and while so much was going on at the church, she took the time to personally check on me. I will never forget that! Pastor Ian is amazing intellectual who brings that energy to every sermon. Dan Eschliman, the Worship Director, is truly gifted in so many ways. Wesley Freedom UMC is a place where you can feel safe, share your divine gifts, and make lifelong friends. It's a place you can find spiritual guidance and support when life knocks you down. This will always be a special place in my heart; I really hope you come and give it a visit. Maybe I'll see you there!”
