“I really liked this place. There's nothing elegant about it. Nothing cheesy, either. No brightly-colored paintings of Mexican scenes or Aztec/Toltec mythology. No slick menus. There are hand-written signs (in Spanish only) in places. The same lady who took my order cooked it and brought it to me. This is not a place to book a wedding anniversary dinner. But, oh, man, the food was tasty. Cooked perfectly, not too spicy. I wouldn't call it pretty, but I didn't care. I loved it. I'm pretty sure the corn tortillas are homemade. They don't taste like any commercial tortilla I've ever tried. They have horchata. If you've never tried this rice-milk-and-cinnamon beverage, go for it. But I didn't see it on the menu. One of the signs (I read some Spanish) said they have different "agua fresca" available, so I asked. Glad I did! I can't wait to go back.”

“Hardee's is a good place to eat, a bit above the usual fast food fare in preparation of the food and in service. As an example, at McDonald's and most other such places, you stand at the counter and wait for your order. At Hardee's, an employee brings it out to your table; a nicer alternative. This, however, is not intended to take anything away from the other places which are okay.”

“Sat at the bat with 3 friends. Chris was behind the bar and was as sweet as usual. We did arrive rather late, and I did feel a bit rushed to place my order and be out by 9pm. Calamari App with house salad was good. The steamed mussels are excellent!!! Bakers is a favorite spot for the locals and is known for homemade comfort food. Reasonable prices!”
