“I bought a 100+ year old farm house on a short sale 5 years ago that was in such disrepair that the real estate agent did not want to show it to me. When I said I wanted to buy it he asked "What, are you handy or something?" I wasn't and I cried when I got the first estimate on putting the bathrooms in working order. Somehow I had the good fortune to find Paul Weiger. He finished a bathroom for me that was completely gutted, he replaced a tub and the tile in another bathroom, added a shower and tile to a third bathroom, fixed my leaking skylights, replaced the sink in my kitchen, put a gutter on my barn and even found some antique doors for me and finished them to replace several that were missing. When I needed work done on my heat pump he even found a great guy to help me out on that as well. I kept Paul busy for several months and trusted him to work long hours in my home while I was at work. Even my dogs loved Paul :) Thanks to Paul and his many years of experience, his skill, his expertise and his willingness to work within my tight budget, I was able to transform a mess into something I am proud of. “It looks like a pretty new facility. We made it just before closing time at five. The staff was warm and welcoming! Plenty of information on Maryland attractions. Free maps and postcards were available. There also was a small gift shop. It had a few informative displays. For food there was vending machines. I was disappointed by no hot water or microwave available to the public. There are picnic tables and a playground. A great place to stop and stretch.”
