The quality of care and, more importantly, support, you get from the midwives and birth assistants far surpasses that of a typical OB or hospital midwife practice. Aside from your hour-long prenatals, Riverside also holds group appointments, which is unique in our area, where you spend hours talking about optimal fetal positioning, postpartum care for the MOTHER, how to prepare your family, labor coping, etc. And homebirth is very affordable. I would highly recommend attending one of their Q&A meet and greets, held monthly.”
